I wonder if this is her opinion or something she's hearing in league circles.
Hey now! Have to worry about contracts 3-4 years down the line!He elevated Gallup and Wilson…like what else do they want? They keep using his salary as a excuse maybe they need a new cap guy but at the same they have 20 million right now and are holding on to it.
they have 20 million right now and are holding on to it.
They have nearly $23 million in cap right now. Releasing Zeke and Smith next offseason puts them around $27 million in space. That’s $50 million in cap space next offseason
I mean I don’t think this quote while true validates them being so cheap….it also does have some substance to it. The real elite top level qb’s do elevate others play.
I’m a big dak supporter but it’s still a question mark with him Imo.
They keep using his salary as a excuse.......
Yeah it’s BS. They are worrying about 3-4 years down the line without thinking about even more holes will be here by then.Hey now! Have to worry about contracts 3-4 years down the line!

No he’s not. Jerry is playing with fire if he is.Jerry is clearing cap space and roster spots for the next head coach.
Look,, I get you don’t like Dak. I know who the guys are on this site who don’t like him for whatever reason. I’ve grown to accept it.Gee, I don't know, maybe because he didn't earn the contract in the first place and failed to live up to it last season? That last play against SF that ended the season - you should expect much better from a 40 mil QB.
Dak has done it before but it hasn’t resulted in anything just like with Romo so you’d think they would’ve learned their lesson by now. They got spoiled and want what Romo did with Miles Austin and Laurent Robinson behind a paper thin O-Line that broke his back. Now they want to repeat with Dak.
There’s something I just don’t know what it is…..Makes you wonder if there's some truth to what she's saying coz money is certainly not the reason for upgrading the roster.
They are not building this roster the way it’s suppose to be built.
Which is exactly what Daks cap number jumps to next year. Dak has been super affordable so far with how the cowboys have worked the contract. The bill is about to come due though, and they are almost to a point where they can’t keep pushing money into the future because they have to start thinking about Daks next deal already.Hey now! Have to worry about contracts 3-4 years down the line!

This is correct. I cannot believe nobody heard Romo going nuts over Dak not throwing outs at the 49'ers. The Dak book is simple, drop corners, Move safeties up a step crowd the middle and challenge Dak to either throw into tight spaces or throw quick outs and take the 7-10 yds. Dak would not do either. At the same time clog the middle for Zeke.. The only way to repair this to move Dak around attack the outside with Pollard and use the new toy Turpin with the jet sweep. Dak needs separation, lots of it, moving him around creates separation and helps the OL.110% Dak supporter but Bob Sturms did a piece about him taking his game to the next level. In short, he suggested there are times a QB has to see plays/opportunities on the field that his offensive coordinator's not calling or missing. This is his problem Dak's playoff game against the 49ers last season. He thought Dak should have taken more ownership rather than relying 100% on calls from the sideline.
