There’s something I just don’t know what it is…..
Same here but notice the thread of Cowboys leading the league in homegrown rosters. Correlation????

That $50 million in space has Daks contract already includedWhich is exactly what Daks cap number jumps to next year. Dak has been super affordable so far with how the cowboys have worked the contract. The bill is about to come due though, and they are almost to a point where they can’t keep pushing money into the future because they have to start thinking about Daks next deal already.

She's absolutely right!!! Dak has to elevate this offense in order for us to get much further than we went last year. His task will be harder this year with a weakened o-line and many questions surrounding unproven receiving corp depth, but he still have to push through.
Yeah he just doesn’t back it up with his actions if he truly wants to win….100% correct - gave you a like just for that last sentence. In Jerry's own words, he builds a roster to remain 'relevant and interesting'. It's an added bonus if it results in a little playoff success, but that really isn't the main goal.
Dak isn't elevating this offense, at least not against the better teams in the league.
That's interesting I heard from @CowboyRoy Dak played a good game vs the 49ers and the rest of the team let him down. It wasn't #4 fault.110% Dak supporter but Bob Sturms did a piece about him taking his game to the next level. In short, he suggested there are times a QB has to see plays/opportunities on the field that his offensive coordinator's not calling or missing. This is his problem Dak's playoff game against the 49ers last season. He thought Dak should have taken more ownership rather than relying 100% on calls from the sideline.
I wonder if this is her opinion or something she's hearing in league circles.
I’m on the fence about what that means….I don’t know if that’s good or bad…..says we draft well but could also say we keep inferior talent as long as it’s homegrown….Same here but notice the thread of Cowboys leading the league in homegrown rosters. Correlation????

I follow Jori. She's a fantastic source. As far as I know, she has many good sources & doesn't blow her own smoke.I wonder if this is her opinion or something she's hearing in league circles
I see you're conflicted. No he’s not. Jerry is playing with fire if he is.
I am not sure we should totally blame Jerry for zeke. Except as the ultimate authority. YEs the contract was big...but at the time Zeke was a 2-time rushing champion...SHOULD HAVE BEEN THREE he got robbed. Great protection and outlet for Dak. The future was being built.Look,, I get you don’t like Dak. I know who the guys are on this site who don’t like him for whatever reason. I’ve grown to accept it.
But this is crap. Don’t give Jerry or Stephen a out for how they build this roster. They gave big money to Collins, Jaylon and Amari just to let them go and are about to do the same with Zeke. They are not building this roster the way it’s suppose to be built.
