would make a good rotational guy on the DL. There's a story of him getting a look from the Texans and Niners recently. Can't find anything else about this behemoth. I liked him before the draft as an UDFA. Has had some weight problems,6'3" 345 lbs and had some disciplinary issues at school and was kicked off the team last season. Since the COWBOYS are used to gambling on players with issues I think he's a good risk and would come cheap. check out this vid:

If the Cowboys weren't looking for that body-type, i.e. huge before when they were running a 3-4 I can't imagine them having any interest in that type (size) of DL now.

We don't really know what the coaches are really looking for, they'd be stupid to share these truths with the media. Just thinking he could plug the middle pretty good and he'd come cheap. Calloway is gone and Brent will be soon, so why not-he already looks better than they did.

I can't find any examples of a Kiffin or Marinelli team or other teams with similar defenses having a DL that couldn't break 5.2 in the forty.

Jose Jose
Height: 6016
Weight: 321
40 Yrd Dash: 5.39

20 Yrd Dash: 3.12
10 Yrd Dash: 1.85
225 Lb. Bench Reps: 25
Vertical Jump: 25 1/2
Broad Jump: 08'01"
20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.65
3-Cone Drill: 8.03

Video shows unavailable. But Kiffin/Marinelli want Rushmen, not run pluggers.

I think I'd be willing to bet they aren't going to sign him Tom.

Don't mean to thread hijack, but any updates on Brian Price? I remember he was cut, but put on some kind of off-season IR. When can he start participating again?

Kiffin has mentioned Seattle and they plug the gaps at times so I wouldn't rule out an untypical player. However, I still think they aren't looking for a wide body 2 gapper.

He was a total toolbag at UCF. He got booted from the team at one time. Not worth the trouble.

His official weight was 321, not 345.

His quickness was just OK. I thought based on this video that his best asset was strength/power, not quickness. He didn't really dominate against lower level college competition (Tulsa in the video).

Having said all of that, it never hurts to take a free look at a player. I don't know his character issues, but he does have the potential to lose a few pounds and get quicker.

I know he has some measurables and all that, but you guys can close this thread because he will never sniff Dallas. His character was terrible and he got kicked off the team at one point for arguing with Coach O'Leary. He struggled to keep his weight in check and missed six games in 2012 because he could not follow the staffs dietary plans to keep his weight down. Oh, I forgot, he also got his initial scholarship pulled and had to go to a Juco for a season before he stepped foot at UCF because of a concealed weapon and aggravated assault charge.

This is not the type of guy you want on your football team. UCF fans were really tired of this guy and happy to very happy see him go.

Well, he'd have to find a new team to sign him before participating. I don't think he has any ties to the Cowboys anymore.

To me..unless Kiflin also plans on playing alot of 3-4 as a change up defense, a guy like this isn't a fit. I mean how many snaps would be play..? 5-10 at the most?

And when he came in, it would be a dead giveaway what schemes they would be playing and not sure you want that either with the QBs in the NFC we face.
