Does anybody remember Garrett talking about Joseph Randle when they took a break at training camp and went to the Ocean. I think it was during the 2013 training camp.

Randle did something odd and Garret was laughing about it. Garrett said "that's typical Randle" or something like that.

Running back Joseph Randle succumbed to peer pressure and jumped in head first -- literally.

"I am not so sure that Joseph has ever been in the ocean before," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "We put a little pressure on Joseph to come in. There were about 25 guys and coaches in the water, so we said, 'Come on, Randle, get in here.' He was on the side of the ocean about 20 feet away. He takes his shirt off, goes running in, and I swear to God, he thought it was a swimming pool because he got about three steps in, the water could not have been more than 12 inches deep, and he jumps up and goes bang. It’s rocks; it’s sand; It ain’t deep. He kind of played it off and got going again, but I am not so sure he knew what he was getting into.Typical Randle. I say that with affection."

Oh wow... and here I am thinking that the Ocean is like the name of a club or restaurant or something. But no, the actual ocean.

Thanks. That's exactly the Garrett quote that I was trying to find.

I think this guy has Kleptomania. I doubt this is his first time stealing. Probably the first time he has been caught. Kleptomania is a form of OCD. Winona Rider had it and is an example of someone with money stealing when they could have easily paid. Hopefully, he is receiving the necessary treatment. Don't like the action but he is a heck of a special team player and not a bad back up running back either.

Maybe, but I think he just didn't want to wait in line.

The story about the Ocean shows that he is a bit simple minded.
