After the season opener for the Bills versus the Rams and their second game versus the Titans, people on this board praised Josh Allen as if he could never do any wrong barring injury.

I am just curious if after that 18 of 34 for 205, 2 pick game he lost yesterday against a team who was a double digit division underdog, I wonder if those people feel the same way about ole Josh today.

Dare I say it but what if Dak did the same against the G-Giants, Eagles or Commanders given a similar situation. By the way, why isn't Aaron Rogers not elevating the players around him? I know Tom is old as hades and he has a plethora of skins on the wall, but it seems to me he's struggling mightily. Did you see that emotional hug between him and Leftwich after they squeaked out that win yesterday? All I'm saying is, winning in the NFL on a consistent level ain't as easy as the highly sometimes biased and negative talking points some of us make on this board.

My old coach told us after we lost to a much inferior team that lucky teams can beat a good team any day...he'd rather us give our all and be lucky and win, than to be good and lose. That always stuck with me....

The average fan doesnt understand football or QB play enough to even understand what you are getting at.

Allen had a bad game. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's laughable how all the Dak haters expect him to be perfect every single game.

They dont expect him to be perfect. Its just all they got. They have lost the Dak argument so badly that its all they can do is complain about a bad game here or there.

Which in turn proves once again how much they dont understand the game of football or QB play.

Allen cost his team the game against Miami as well by throwing a ball into the dirt with a wide open receiver in the end zone to win the game.

It was crickets here, but if Dak had done that. You better believe 10 threads would have been created. Its a double standard thats been around since he took Romo's job.

Just like when Dak beats up on bad teams there are threads about it, but Hurts does it and he is much improved and looks awesome LOL.

Josh Allen isn't our QB. Of course there aren't going to be multiple threads on his bad games. We shouldn't even have this one.

I would say:

Josh Allen is an elite QB, if not the best

Dak Prescott is a great QB, but not elite.

I can see that ..... I personally just do not put anyone in elite tier unless they carry thier team to Superbowls ..... But it would be hard to argue with your assessment.

I watched Hurts a lot this year. He has about as much responsibility as Aikman did. The guy is blessed. he basically takes the snap and hands the ball off. Once in a while he will do a play action pass with a receiver streaking wide open over the middle with all the time in the world to throw.

I think their easy schedule will come back to bite them in the playoffs. The last game at the end of the season might even be moot by the time we play it. Eagles may have the division and the top seed already wrapped up.

I have a sneaky suspicion they will drop a couple games.

The fans that live in the moment probably don’t think as highly of Josh Allen as they did prior to the Bills loss to the Jets. It’s day to day with fans especially on this board. They expect QBs to be perfect every single week and all it takes is one bad game from a QB for some bozo fan to claim they suck. You must be that type of fan to come up with a thread like this. Lol

SB's are team accomplishments. QB's are elite whether their team wins a SB or not. And certainly QB's dont have to be elite either that win a SB.

Why would you penalize a QB because his GM did a bad job surrounding him with enough talent?

In all fairness Dak is expected to perform like a top 10 QB in the league. Coming into the season there was a huge debate as to if hurts would be the starter next year or if Philly should use their draft picks to grab a new QB. The difference in celebration & criticism is about what each has accomplished in their careers. One has established that they can win in this league, the other we have just recently found that out.
