If this guy starts sliding in the draft beyond the top 10 (given that Darnold, Rosen, and Mayfield may go before him to QB desperate teams), Allen might be the best player available.
He is no.11 on Kiper's Big Board.
His offensive staff at Wyoming was the same staff that coached Wentz at NDSU (they state there are some comparisons between Wentz and Allen - strong arm, deep ball accuracy, etc.,).
Even in a trade up scenario, I don't see the reason not to pull the trigger.
Best player available for the most important position on a team.
