Getting Brent back in the rotation with Lissemore and keeping Rat fresh for a second half / 4th quarter push would be nice.

I could see Rat late in a game coming in with fresh legs, esp after Lissemore has run the OL around, since he seems to have better lateral movement witch this DL has been lacking a bit since early in the season when nobody was running on this D, and they were ranking top 5 if not higher against the run.

I could see that stat resurfacing here late in the season, and that size in Brent returning leaning and wearing on that OL all day could really help with some inside pressure late in the day.

If this isnt part of the game plan, than RoB of Ryan needs to take a urinalysis.

Very good news!

Both Lisesmore and Brent seem to have some ability.

He's the big body NT that everybody wants and we need against big backs like Jacobs.

Yes, I like both of them, too.

Next year will be the 3rd for both so I'm looking for a big increase in production out of both of them.

Now would be a good time to get an extension done for a reasonable price with a small signing bonus. Maybe we could score each for $2m/yr like we did with Hatcher.

I think Brent will take more and more snaps from Ratliff at NT who could then stay fresher for the second half and take some more snaps at DE. I also think Lissemore is about to break out like Ratliff did in his 3rd year. I can see him becoming a 5-6 sack/yr player at DE.

Yes, I think missing him for the Giants and Cards games hurt our run defense some. It also got Rat too fatigued in the second half when both teams did their damage.

Heck I would let rat get all the 3rd down reps and let them both split the 1st and 2nd downs....also depending on the situation. A fresh healthy ratliff could be the passrush we have been waiting for. Ratliff is playing too many snaps. If its 1st or 2nd down and it is most-likely a run look or down (put brent out there). Keep ratliff as fresh as possible. Heck play ratliff and lissemore on the d-line on 3rd down passing situations and I think our passrush could be improved. Especially if we can some how get a big game from spencer.

We should be doing some rotations in the pass rush situations in the nickel.

The first team should be Ratliff and Lissemore at DT.

The second team should be Ratliff and Hatcher at DT.

The third team should be Lissemore and Hatcher at DT.

I really don't want to see Spears, Brent or Coleman out there much in passing situations. They should rotate in and out on first and second downs.
