Interested?

If cleared, he would be a restricted free agent but Cleveland has already made it known that they plan to move on without him so they would be very unlikely to match an offer.

If nothing else, I'm sure he and Randy Gregory would get along well.

wonder how long the NFL is going to take to make a decision. I think Aldon Smith applied for reinstatement in Nov and still hasn't heard anything.

Only if it was for the vet league minimum plus incentives and was cleared for reinstatement for the first ballgame of the regular season. But I doubt he would sign that.

i bet he'd sign it if no one else was offering anything. and considering his history, that could be the case

Lets do it! Hahaha Seriously though, the guy is an animal when hes on the field. Unlike Gregory hes actually produced in his limited time. Do I think hed be a smart signing, probably not. Would I be excited like the fan boy I am, absofreakinglutely. After all this is entertainment and youd have to color me entertained by the idea lol.

He is a lot better than Twill and Butler, just make sure he can stay off the ganja :lmao:

Sign him only if he has a babysitter following him around 24/7. Theres no question the guy can play.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots sign him.

For the base salary plus incentives? Hell yeah! That would be a no brainer. Its a free rental of a player better than Dez Bryant. If he falls off the wagon it costs you nothing, and if he sticks then it is worth quite a bit.

Plus if he leaves and signs with someone else after a great year then you get a comp pick.

I don't know why a team wouldn't sign him and really assign someone to be hand cuffed to him 24-7.
