This is the safety that I want. He tackles, he intercepts the ball, he is fast, he plays football. He probably goes between 28 and 60. I hope that they are able to get him. He is a steal at 60. I'm afraid that he will be gone.

Good pick. I also want Jordan Willis or Keith Rivers at RDE. I think we can come out with a good safety and DE in this draft.

I could see him fitting in really well - hard hitter like Church but with better coverage and ball handling skills.

But since we are dreaming of him sliding to 60, I also hope Taco Charlton makes it to us at 28 and Desmond King lasts to the third - and I do predict he slides well into the third for a variety of reasons.

I'd be ok with a trade back to 32 and taking Jones and getting an extra pick.

unless we fleece a team in trade, I would hate that. pick 45 sounds more like it.
You would hate moving 4 spots and getting an extra pick in this strong draft? It is very possible that they do something like that.

yes. maybe I'm wrong, but I just think he can be had later. Staying in round 1 I think we hope for an edge rusher or CB being the value pick.

I've been on the Jones bandwagon for a while now. At pick 60, he'd be very good value.

He's too talented to last that long but this is such a deep, deep secondary draft that he just might make it. He's been way overlooked for a while now.

I wrote this a while back but I'll say it again: Put him on Alabama, LSU, or some team like that and he'd be a super star that everyone knew about.

so many mocks show him making it even deep into the third, and although think that is ridiculous, I would prefer risking him not making it to 60 then getting him at 32 or even early in round 2.

this is such a deep draft. I wouldn't mind trading from 28 down several times and eventually making him one of the picks with the haul we get.

Yeah, using our first pick on him would be a bit much IMO. Get him with our second, is what I want. Even a slight move up a few spots if they think it is necessary. But not with our first IMO.

Those mocks are wrong, IMO. He won't make it to the third I don't think.

I honestly think we move back to 33-36 this year with a team wanting that 4th qb in round 1.

I love this guy in round 2

I think they are pretty near in skill but Obi is a better athlete. I would be fine with either.
Listening to Broaddus, he does not like Obi. Says he has slow reaction time which negates his athleticism.

Listening to Broaddus, I have come to the conclusion he doesn't know **** about DBs.

Haha true. But in this case, he's fairly accurate. Obi should have destroyed the competition given his size/measurables at Uconn. There's just something about him.

I'd be okay with the pick at 60 but I'd rather have Jones. Two safeties named Jones. That's funny to me
