McDaniels was a complete ****** in Denver. Got caught cheating and was despised by owners and other coaches and players. Unless he completely changed, doubt it, no sense bringing in a known cancer.

This , and it is true of many coordinators who are good, but just dont have leadership skills, leslie frazier was one of those.

Yet we hired a guy that never accomplished anything at all as a coordinator and kept him for another 10 years. I don’t know how anyone can watch the Pats and not credit the OC. That team isn’t just a great QB it’s an efficient group where all 11 are extremely prepared and well run. That’s a huge credit to McDaniels. Sure it’s a product of Belichick, but well designed and well called. He can manage a game clock. That already gives him an edge, never mind the Super Bowls.

Did McDaniels' teams look like that when he was in charge? Not even close.
