LeBron James is close personal friends with Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, and more. NFL players often exchange jerseys as a sign of respect. The fans of professional sports want athletes to hate each other, and it just doesn't happen. There are very few team based rivalries.

College football this weekend will showcase teams that hate each other because of the laundry they wear.

You pay for a premium player. That's just what you do. Carolina has looked very mediocre without him as their record shows.

I think he's a fraud. Everything is so dramatic with him on the field. He is NOT a shutdown corner but credit to him for taking what the market commanded. He's a pretty good technique guy but I think his "talk" and his "antics" is greater than his game. Somewhat like Deangelo hall. Hate the guy.

There pass defense is probably their biggest weakness.

I agree with your logic but letting Josh Norman walk was as devastating for the Panthers as it would be if we let Zack Martin walk because he wanted to be the top paying guard. You would immediately see a strength of our team become more of a question mark.

Regardless, the Panthers had Norman on a franchise tag and just took it back after free agency was all but finished. They could've made room for him for one more season, they just thought they could replace him and the defense would be fine without him. They were wrong.

I think the overly friendly angle is overstated. He still went out and got 7 catches for 102 yards. If I told you he would put up those numbers today, angry or friendly, everyone here would take it.

I don't like his attitude normally, but he's a good corner, and he seems respectful towards our Cowboys. He's friendly with Dez, and seems to admire Dak and Zeke.

i feel the same way. i'm not into the diva corners any more than the diva wide receivers, and norman and richard sherman are diva corners. but i am surprised by how respectful norman was there. i appreciate that.
