Jourdan Lewis is done with a decade of frustration

I think you are interpreting his tweets wrong. I don’t think he was throwing his teammates under the bus at all. I think his frustration is with Jerry, being underpaid, and likely lowballed again. To me, it’s crystal clear who his beef is with from the second tweet. If you eliminated his first more cryptic tweet and just looked at the second, would you still feel the same way?
He got paid, no one else paid him the last few years and he chose to stay. I just don't like whiners....

Fair enough…I took it as venting but it’s open to interpretation I guess. I did see where he thanked Cowboy Nation. I also saw where he said that he had the highest slot cover grade this past year.

I think he was being honest when he said he wanted to stay in Dallas and felt slighted. If true, the tweets were between him and the FO and had nothing to do with the team or the fans of Dallas. Just my opinion.

I respected Lewis in coverage, but if you guys thing Diggs can't tackle or play the run, you should see where Lewis ranks in that regard. I hope the best for him, and understand his frustration, but he's nothing special. I didn't expect to have him back. He's 29, and like Awuzie (spell?) he has priced himself out of Dallas.

So you think diggs is more physical in run support than Lewis? Just want you to be clear on that. Yes or no

You know he's full of it.

1. He wanted to stay here
2. He went to the jags. They have less hope of making the playoffs than Dallas.

You would think Lewis and D-Law signed with the Eagles, Chiefs, or Bills the way they are talking about Dallas; not Jacksonville and Seattle.

I think their comments are more geared towards what their new fan base wants to hear.

whew.. happy Lewis went to ateam where he wont be "Frustrated." I mean, those jags are in the SB hunt every year.

That’s the concerning thing.
what exactly is concerning? The fact two players left for MONEY... because lets be real, thats all this was about. You think Dlaw would have left if Dallas offered him the exact same deal Seattle did? Not a chance.

You’re right. Nothing special about playing for the Cowboys.

For players in the NFL, only one thing is special, that paycheck. Teams and their winning come and go. So is it still special to play for the Pats? How bout the Steelers? Or maybe those 49ers, who have a longer SB ttle draught than Dallas has?

The Chiefs are currently "Special," until Mahomes goes away. When he goes away, they will likely go back to the same old Chiefs I saw for the first 46 years of my life.
