I'd love to get two new safeties in here. Both of ours are just terrible. Wilson makes a big hit or two every season and Hooker just catches a random INT every 12 games. Other than that, they contribute nothing.
I don't see safety as the major issue some other positions are. I actually like Bell and Thomas and wouldn't mind them stepping into the starting roles. We need to give them some competition, but I don't think we need to be shopping for starting safeties with our other needs.

The top slot cornerbacks are going for 10 million a year. Lewis should be asking for something at least close to that. He gave the Cowboys a huge discount last year. Don't assume he will again. Tyron Smith didn't.

He's 29 years old and he's proven to be one of the better slot corners in the league.

Definitely the kind of guy that you look to keep. In a sane organization, he would be a great culture guy as well as a solid player.

JL doesn’t get the fanfare that Diggs receives, but JL plays a huge role in Dallas’ secondary and makes it better…able to play outside and in the slot; and has that dawg mentality needed to play the CB position.

We like our guys and our guys know we pay top dollar and like to bid against ourselves.

That said, what choice do we have? Diggs is gone for most of 2025 and we mighteven cut him. How many DBs that can start can we draft?
