This is touchy. It's he said she said. I can totally see how his side of the story would happen. But, it's the second incident, so it was a "toxic" relationship that he should've been done with already. When he gets passed this, he's gonna be a great player for us!!

I cannot recall, but the NFL cannot suspend him for a DV incident before he was drafted. Unlike a failed drug test at the combine that puts the player in the substance abuse program, I believe there is no such equivalent for the personal conduct policy. Thus, our only fear with this guy is if he gets convicted and serves any jail time, which is very, very unlikely for a misdemeanor charge and on these facts.

There will be no jail time because there really is nothing substantial enough for a conviction if his lawyer is any good at all

I practice criminal defense for a living so I'll chime in.

1. Will she even show for trial? If not the case is likely dismissed.

2. Does she have any documented injuries? The burden of proof is on the government. Just her word versus his usually ends in a not guilty.

I don't see how he can get suspended for this, but you never know with Roger.

I am sure Mara is recommending at least a one game suspension.
