Jourdan Lewis said what all Cowboys fans were thinking after George Pickens trade

Jourdan Lewis decided to go to Jacksonville before George Pickens became a trade factor. Nothing like finding and grandstanding a reason to have joined another team after the fact.
Have you read the tweet? It makes perfect sense. I'll interpret for you: Jordain is saying this trade is confirmation that he belongs in J-ville. He hates Pickens b/c George grabbed his facemark and threw him to the ground at the end of the game lat year. So, Jordain may have been regretting leaving Dallas or having second thought, but this trade is making him thankful bc he doesn't want to share a locker room or practice field with Pickens.

Pickens is an elite talent but draws penalities and according to some steeler fans can only run go routes
Is he a route tree master? No, but he can and does routinely run more than go routes. Fans of all teams swim in a deep pool of hyperbole.

I think just like many of the former first round picks we added to the team this season. He’ll be gone just like most of them.
Difference in Pickens and the other first rounders is that Pickens has produced even with awful QB play. These other cats have just floundered around.

It’s worth the gamble, but even lamb was getting into dak. If dak keeps throwing balls into the dirt at his feet, ticking time bomb which tbfh I don’t mind. Players need to get into daks face

Jourdan Lewis is happy to be in Jacksonville after Cowboys' George Pickens trade

After jawing with Pickens back-and-forth all game, Lewis displayed a little gamesmanship and celebrated Dallas' win on Sunday Night Football in Pickens' face. Nothing out of the ordinary in today's NFL by any means, but Pickens responded by yanking Lewis to the turf by his facemask.

It was a sore loser move by Pickens, who is lucky Lewis was not injured.

Ever a bulldog, Lewis popped right back up and was ready for a scrap, but the officiating crew intervened. The veteran cornerback ultimately got the last laugh on his way back to the locker room when he uttered "Pittsburgh need a receiver. George Pickens weak."

Lewis played a huge role in limiting Pickens to three catches for 26 yards on seven targets in the game. Pickens seemingly retaliated over that and the fact he played just 34 of the Steelers' 58 offensive snaps.

The exchange is a perfect encapsulation of what the Cowboys are getting in Pickens. While an elite talent, his off-field presence flies in the face of head coach Brian Schottenheimer's desire to cultivate a first-class culture.

100%

I liked Lewis a lot as a player and something of a leader on the field but the deal is done. Pickens is a Cowboy and we'll see how that turns out. Let's hope Pickens is happy being in Dallas and not a malcontent.

He's a very good player. At 24, I wasn't the most mature guy in the world. Let's cut the Cowboys' new player a little slack.

lol. Imagine a player bragging about going to Jacksonville. Their organization is 10 times worse than Dallas and they have to go to Europe just to have anyone watch that sorry excuse for a team. You would think they could eventually get to .500 with all of those top 5 draft picks they collect every year. Also, what team gives up the farm to move up a few spots in the draft to get one player when they have so many holes to fill on their roster. Lewis is acting like he signed with the Chiefs or Ravens.

I’m sure the short-tempered head case WR will have a blast waiting for his low IQ tunnel vision QB to get him the ball all game and constantly having to dive or stop his motion to catch his inaccurate passes. What could possibly go wrong?

Can’t think of a worse combination, the locker room clown show drama was already bad but it’s about to reach new heights this year.
Shhhh, I don't want Dak to have may excuses. LMAO

it's wild how many people need this spelled out.

As of today Pickens is a cowboy and Lewis w somebody else right? Wellllllll let's not act like he had the most ints in his career. Very solid but we will see who has the better career in Dallas.
Pickens 24 yo and one of best in league at what he does. I don't mind an attitude if he is putting up and keeping it mostly clean. Don't think those WRs and CBs out there aren't basically fighting every play. Same with OL/DL, it's a physical violent sport and sometimes u need attitude.

Glad your in Jacksonville No one will ever know if you’re still playing or not with the coverage you will get in Jacksonville!

I like JLew and I wanted to keep him. But with that being said I feel he needs to concentrate on his current team and not his former team.
He should have been signed the year before. Losing Lewis was dumb. Getting Pickens was a good move. He’s gonna help the team
