The Giants did not pay Saquon Barkley, which allowed Philadelphia the opportunity to sign him.I don’t get the reference.
Yeah, but maybe they don't make it there without Barkley ... although it looks to me like they would have since they beat the Packers 22-10 and WFT 55-23.Philly front 4 harassing Mahomes all game > Barkley 25-57-2.3

Well and to be fair Barkley on paper didn't have a great game but reality was Kansas stacking the box to stop him was one of the main reasons why they kept getting burned on deep throws.Yeah, but maybe they don't make it there without Barkley ... although it looks to me like they would have since they beat the Packers 22-10 and WFT 55-23.
KC sold out to stop Barkley and dared Hurts to beat them. Philly receivers were matched up man to man when it counted most (most of the game really), and Hurts made them pay with his passing and running. Barkley became the Decoy of the Year for that game. Barkley did a lot of heavy lifting during the season and in the playoffs.Philly front 4 harassing Mahomes all game > Barkley 25-57-2.3
Yes, that's what an outstanding run game does. It forces you to have to focus on stopping it, which opens things up for the passing game, if you have a decent one. This is what our front office forgot last year when it devalued the RB position. Hopefully, the Joneses have learned their lessons, but since they've been doing free agency the same way for 12 years despite the fact that it hasn't worked, I'm not expecting anything.Well and to be fair Barkley on paper didn't have a great game but reality was Kansas stacking the box to stop him was one of the main reasons why they kept getting burned on deep throws.
Ah, that is pretty funny. The Giants did not pay Saquon Barkley, which allowed Philadelphia the opportunity to sign him.
but we all know the game plan was to do whatever it took to stop Barkley meaning they put more in the box they paid more attention to him therefore it opened up the passing game so one way or the other they benefited from Barkley getting to the Super bowl but also them having the game plan for him. But for sure the Philadelphia defense had a huge part of it but it's about stopping to run and pressuring the life out of PM..Philly front 4 harassing Mahomes all game > Barkley 25-57-2.3
Letting Barkley walk!I don’t get the reference.
Barkley was still the engine that made the Eagles run. The stats don’t tell the story. KC has one of the best defenses and arguably best secondaries in football. Handing Barkley the ball 25 times and targeting him with 7 of Hurts 22 passes is why all the big plays were there for Brown and Smith running wide open and behind the secondary. KC sold out to control Barkley, but they then fell apart on the back end.Philly front 4 harassing Mahomes all game > Barkley 25-57-2.3
