Jourdan Lewis tweet gave me a chuckle

Philly front 4 harassing Mahomes all game > Barkley 25-57-2.3
KC sold out to stop Barkley and dared Hurts to beat them. Philly receivers were matched up man to man when it counted most (most of the game really), and Hurts made them pay with his passing and running. Barkley became the Decoy of the Year for that game. Barkley did a lot of heavy lifting during the season and in the playoffs.
"Decoy" indeed. Look at big dogs stats. A 2.3 ypc...yet Philly STILL gave him 25 carries. Almost like they fooled Kansas into keeping on barkley's "behind".

Meanwhile Hurts burned them hard with runs and some nice throws.

It's what teams have been doing to Dallas for years now. Except we bail out of the run almost instantly and our QB can't do that.

Barkley was still the engine that made the Eagles run. The stats don’t tell the story. KC has one of the best defenses and arguably best secondaries in football. Handing Barkley the ball 25 times and targeting him with 7 of Hurts 22 passes is why all the big plays were there for Brown and Smith running wide open and behind the secondary. KC sold out to control Barkley, but they then fell apart on the back end.
You beat me to it!

The play that highlights this the best is the TD to Smith. I replayed this in slow motion. KC lined up, eight men in the box. One man drops back, then moves right back before the ball is snapped. Hurts takes the ball and gives a little fake to Barkley. Immediately, all eight men attack the spot and flow to where Barkley was headed. Hurts pulls the ball, steps back, and drops that dime to Smith. All the Eagle receivers had their man on the ropes already past the eight yard line.

Saquon didn't have a big game, but he had numerous great games that got them there.

Rams I believe could have beaten them if Saquon wasn't on the field.

Yeah, but maybe they don't make it there without Barkley ... although it looks to me like they would have since they beat the Packers 22-10 and WFT 55-23.
And that’s the thing. Barkley was a big part why they got there. Not only that but it was clear the gsme plan was to shut him down.

He did not have a great game because KC committed to stopping him. Why is it hard to comprehend.

The Giants did not pay Saquon Barkley, which allowed Philadelphia the opportunity to sign him.
I think it was meant as a direct stab at Micah Parsons crying about the Giants lying to him (that they promised to take him at 11 in the draft).

Had they taken him we never had to deal with that cancer. Our roster would not be so corrupted by him and so we had a much bigger chance to be in the position the Eagles are now.

Thats what Jourdan was talking about in his tweet. He is a very intelligent person, dont forget that.

Lol. Is this some kind of sarcasm? Without Parsons who would we rush the passer with all these years? Lawrence?

Jourdan Lewis has not said or done anything that makes me believe he is less intelligent, but I do not think his comment has anything to do with Micah Parsons.
