Jourdan Lewis

That was bigger than the pick. Not many cover guys can handle Kamara in that offense. It changed the game.

This dude is a really good player we have severely underutilized this year.
You would have to put that on Kris. Top 3 scoring defense so its hard to argue with his choice not to play Lewis more. With that said it was a stroke of genius to play primarily man and pretty much shadow Kamara with Lewis

Kris Richard has single handedly inspired our defense to levels of greatness. Many of these players are the same players that existed here under Marinelli for the past few years (minus young wolf LVE).... I'MHO, it is no coincidence that this defense is starting to believe in themselves and exhibit a level of swagger that matches their collective talent level.

No slight to Marinelli but... KR is that dude.

You cannot underestimate Leighton Vander Esch's contribution to this team, kid is just ridonculous.

Weren't there rumors of us shopping Lewis? I'm glad we didn't trade him!

Maybe we benched him to get him to play better and w/i the system?

Lewis is my favorite corner on the team

Yea i know Jones is playing lights out but i still like Lewis better

J-Lew should be playing more. I've felt that since week 1. Not sure what's going on, if he hasn't responded to the technique Richard teaches, he doesn't fit his CB profile, but the guy is sticky in coverage, athletic, and a player.

Lewis got matched up with Kamara several times in this game and did a fantastic job.

He's a good defender but I wish we would keep him out of the offensive game plan.
Yeah, keep it basic. Everyone knows the design is to get him the ball. Wouldn't say it's been successful.

no doubt. If they think he's that dynamic with the ball put him at pr/kr and quit taking touches from zeke, cooper, and beasley to get him involved.

The secondary is legit, cant wait to have that Thomas guy added in next season.

I am a Jourdan Lewis fan tho, love seeing him on offense as well.
Pass on Thomas. As soon as he's targeted and completed on a few times everyones perfect image of him is out the window then it'll be nonstop Ken Hamlin comparisons

I think at the very least he earned himself some more playing time, but the entire D did the same as well

Lewis was fabulous last night...just a minor nitpick..theres no way his INT shouldn't have been a pick ..there was NOBODY down the sideline..he cut inside to all the traffic and away from all of his blockers..if he cuts to the outside, he walks in..

I've wondered about that. if that was the intent, it seems to have worked well. the coaching decision to put him on Kamara was brilliant. and his performance was outstanding the entire game.
