I would have pulled the Franchise Tag the moment he refused to be seen by team officials.

He was only on a one year deal anyways and now he is severely injured. He was never gonna play up to the Franchise Tag this year, if at all.

Agreed, without question. I would have told him, my docs see you or the franchise tag is gone.

Yes risky as it puts the power in his hand, but if he continues to refuse. It's a done deal.

there was really no reason to. once he signs, they can put him on the NFI list and still not pay him. it was definitely frustrating, but the Giants still have all the leverage.

With Paul being out, that SHOULD make things a little easier for the Cowboys tonight. If he is out for the year, then the Giants could be in trouble.

I hate to say it, but Karma is a *****. This guy was a complete **** to a lot of people including bullying several players. As Clint Eastwood said in The Unforgiven, "Deserve has nothing to do with it." As I said before though. Karma is a *****.

Never heard of him bullying players before
