Hey guys,

Yesterday you and I spoke on how we all were losing interest. Our schedules were always wrapped around Cowboys games.

Has this changed helped at all ?

I know this will be the most interesting game of the year for me, to date, because of the change. Hopefully bring me back into the game. Hopefully make me that guy who doesn't want people talking or distracting me during the game...Something that I had lost this season.

This is not a call out thread, just wanted to get your reactions to the change and see if this game will be of more interest to you than last Sunday nights game. I know it will be for me, plus I'm having friends over for our semi annual match against the Giants, since I'm up in that country.

Juke, hope you have a great b-day party and get to top it off with a big upset of the hated Gnats.

From your friend Jarv, the wanna be optimist.

I don't expect a big turn-around in the performance of this squad.

Not because Garrett isn't or couldn't be a quality head coach, but because the schedule is brutal and Garrett's hiring doesn't fix the offensive line.

I think the over/under is probably 2 wins the rest of the way.

Heck, I'll be happy to see a pulse in these guys. I'm not Hos and saying JG is the answer, because we really don't know, I'm just hoping that I see a spark of interest from this team and accountability.

That would be enough to keep me at least interested.

Of course it sparks some interest but I fear and understand that the results will be much the same as our previous outings. The masses here in Dallas will scoff and then you will begin to see how quickly they run from being associated with a loser. By seasons end the stadium will have plenty of empty seats even with scalpers selling their wares for pennies on the dollar.

I don't expect much immediate improvement because it takes longer than a few days to build up the stamina it takes to win and this bunch is obviously out of shape and undisciplined. But I think the team attitude will be better.

I cannot imagine a worse head coach image than Wade, nor poorer leadership nor a less motivating presence. Garrett is a breath of fresh air.

Wade is living proof that knowledge of football does not win games, players playing smarter and harder win football games. This team has forgotten what a positive attitude is and I think Garrett will re-introduce them to the concept.

Michael, would you feel the same way if Romo was healthy?

I mean...this is the same team that played very well last year. I'm thinking they have been on cruise control since the offseason and maybe (hopefully) is the spark needed to get back on track.

I sort of agree with you on the "over/under" for the wins the rest of the year. What I would really like is to win out,and somehow make the playoffs.....Playoffs????.....PLAYOFFS?????? But I sure think realistically that won't happen. Having said that,I think two wins would sure get us a nice shot at a good draft position, and more importantly,I think two wins would go a long way to carrying over momentum into next year.......If the two wins are against the right teams! By that I mean, two victories against the Lions and, say, the Cards, wouldn't carry as much weight as say victories over two teams like the Skins and maybe Eagles, that knocked them out of the playoffs!
That would be sweet, and put a little salve on this awful season! I can dream.

When Romo was healthy...

We were 1-4 with the 26th-ranked pass defense, according to opponent's passer rating.

Now we're 1-7 with the 32nd-ranked pass defense, according to opponent's passer rating.

Offensively, we've gone from leading the league in time of possession to 19th.
