New England has Amendola, Hogan, and others still to fill that role.
And Cooks can take in some of Edleman's deeper targets.

The Patriots signed Amendola 5 years ago to take over the role of Wes Welker. He was unable to do so then, so I doubt he is able to now.

I agree...not Amendola by himself.
Luckily I didn't say that.
Instead, I said Amendola combined with several others (Hogan, Cooks, and others..prob RBs)

Is going to have to be the other guys. Amendola won't be able to step up his contribution.

the problem with that is having them in when they make those contributions. Like Running back by committee it sounds a lot easier to do then it is.

Official: Edelman out for season
Best news I've heard all day! Hmmmm...who else is a threat that we can laugh about being injured? Anyone know the status on OBJ? He's number 2 on my injury wish list behind Brady. I was so excited when I saw him go down the other night but was pretty po'd when I read it wasn't as bad it looked. More injuries on other teams helps us. If you're a true fan than you would be as happy as I am. You guys do realize every team has injuries and the more the better, it only helps us.

I am also glad he tore his ACL and I hope Brady does too. I am classy because the beer I'm drinking out of this brown paper bag is Miller High Life, and it's the champagne of beers.

I'd say WR is one of our deepest positions but I'd be leery of making a trade with Bill Belichick. The guy is so damn smart, sneaky and shrewd, we'd probably get ripped off! lol

They lost Gronk and won the Super Bowl last season, after years of "experts" saying he was the 2nd most important Patriot after Brady.

Amendola is still like the 4th receiver on their depth chart behind Cooks, Hogan and Mitchell. Plus they have Gronk back and are like 5 deep in solid running backs. They're more than fine.

The bottom line is the Patriots will stay on top as long as Brady can play like Brady and Belichick is pulling the strings.

The Cowboys need to learn how to get the hell out of their own damn way before they worry about how the Patriots are doing.

I don't wish injury on people, but I'm going to go with karma here. That dude is a ****.
