BP likes runners to run a certain way, and Zimmer likes his edge rushers to think run first.
I noticed that Julius did not always run into the pile today, like he's done the entire year he's played. I saw several big runs (outside of that long TD run where he had enough room to drive a bus thru) he was cutting back where there was opened field.
That's how you should run, you should use your vision and not always try to follow your blocker up into the gap.
Meanwhile, it seemed like they lined Ware up wider than usual, and the guy flat out stormed the back field. He could have had 3 more sacks, but Jake released the ball just in time. 1 offseason of weight gain and strength training, and I see a faster stronger Haley. Also, the only times when they didn't put pressure on the QB was when Ware was in coverage, or on play-actions
But when Ware was released to just rush the passer, it was hell on Carolina.
