Julius and the Spitter both over 1,000 for the season...

How far is JJ over 1,000? He might lose it next week the way he's playing. I love JJ but he's missing daylight consistently. JJ needs to step it up.

You're not kidding. In fact, didn't this happen last year during the New Year's Day game against the Rams at one point, leaving him at the 993 mark?

Kind of like when Emmitt broke the rushing record, the following week he could have lost enough yards to fall behind Payton.

I thought Julius didn't get much "daylight" when he was in. Barber did on those third downs and late in the game against a tired defense.

Granted, the coverage was lousy, but I'm being honest about the blocking for Julius--it looked bad.

Blocking always looks bad when the RB runs into the pile.

The holes where there a few times, JuJo missed them. He left a lot of yards on the field tonight.

MBIII has definitely outplayed JuJo lately. The sad thing is, our 1-2 punch at running back is becoming a one-man show. We need both of them to excel.

I won't mind if MB3 becomes our starting tailback, if for no ther reason to get rid of the annoying "JuJo" monkier.

worst. nickname. ever.

Terry Glenn might break 1000 to, he has like 920 now

That would be cool.

It's a well diversified offense.

Too bad MBIII couldn't also get to 1,000 yards this season . . . .

Right on, Rack.........for some reason Julius couldn't seem to find the holes when they were there. He looked awfully impatient tonight......several developed after he ran into a big pile. He must be more patient if he wants to continue to get decent snaps.

Tired defense??

They were on the field 3 minutes more than we were... and... MB3player was hitting and blowing up defenders...

yet people still want to fix what ain't broken. Look, MBIII knows he's going to get his touches. He knows he's going to be in on short yardage. He knows he's going to be in on 3rd down. He knows he's going to be in in the red zone. He knows he's going to be in at the end of the game. Bottom line, he knows his role and is comfortable with it. I may be in the minority but I don't want Julius in on 3rd down, short yardage, redzone, etc. The roles would probably have to reverse or JJ would get hardly any touches at all.
