He may fall short of those totals b/c Barber is such a good backup. That's fine w/ me, it's only about wins when all is said and done.

Keep them healthy and fresh I don't care about the stats per say but JuJo and Barber are playing really well.

I don't see why we have to have a traditional "franchise" RB. The duo-back system is working for a lot of teams (Dallas, Carolina, New Orleans, KC last year, etc). I certainly wouldn't won't to be like the Seahawks or Commanders and have your "franchise" back go down from injury because that pretty much ruins your season.

nope he isn't a franchise back he is agood back when worked in a multiple bak system, a franchise back is a guy that can carry a team and I don't think jujo can do that.

Careful with projections. Those things have a way of slowing once November comes 'round.

I truly hope Julius is a franchise back who becomes twice as good as Emmitt & Dorsett combined. But its silly to point to his start over 3 games in a very young season and declare it as proof he's a franchise back, especially in the case of Julius whose primary knock has been... durability!

We all want him to do well over the course of the entire, and many seasons.

Here's to you Julius!

It's amazing what JuJo can achieve with good blocking. That is a factor, you know.

And that's against two good run defenses.

I have been saying it all along,he needs lanes to run through. He is getting them now,so let's see, but remember we played the Titans today. Let's see how he fairs next week and all season long;)

Beat me to it.

JJ's production is more about the very good blocking that we have had this year.

He as always had the talent, but when you are getting hit in the backfield on half of your carries, you just don't have a chance. Our o-line is MILES ahead of where we were last year, and that is the reason for our improved running game. I honestly think it has very little to do with our backs.

and a franchise back is one who demands ALOT of money, contract day will be interesting with JJ when the time comes. Will we give him what he wants, or will he leave????? Yes many teams have 2 back systems but they can't afford to keep 2 good backs under the cap, one eventually has too go

I love "on pace" projections. Roy Williams was "on pace" for 16 Ints. Now he's "on pace" for only 10.7.

He should still lead the league with 10.7 though.

JJ (and our OL) had a great game against one of the poorer run defenses in the league. I thnk I'll wait before I put them all in Canton.

Who's putting him in Canton? Is there something wrong with stating that he's a franchise back?

Nope, a DB for Jax is "on pace" for 16. Lol. Leave it to an aggie to talk about "on Pace" after 3 games.
