Julius Jones Sig

looks good kid :), i like the stars in the back ground, just an idea though, have you thought about using perspective and making the stars appear bigger in the foreground and smaller as they go back?

heres the fixed one

i like the concept but what u could try is some lighting over julius

use this tutorial if u like the effect
this is a basic lighting tutorial on a players that gives the render depth, and enhances the image on you sig or wallpaper. It's pretty easy, and u can change the properties to each layer as u see fit..remember the softer the property lighten, and opacity will give u a softer more blended outcome, while harder properties like hard light will give u harder edges

step one
i used a 400x125 base, and used a solid black background fill

step 2
put in a render crop it however u do that..i use a 10 circle brush to erase, others use the lasso..

duplicate it 3 times so u have a total of 4 layers, then put all of the duplicates under the background layer so u get this

on the original render desaturate it image>adjustments>desaturate
http://img276.*************/img276/6444/3xb9.jpg

step 3
bring up one of the duplicate layers and put it over the original and set the layer to overlay at 40%
http://img70.*************/img70/9517/4zx9.jpg

step 4
put the next render layer over the one before and edit the color balance
image>adjustments>color balance and i use these setting, u can use any its your choice

then set to pinlight at 85%
http://img403.*************/img403/9670/5st5.jpg

step5
set the last remaining duplicate and put above the previous render and again set it to pinlight at 55%
http://img509.*************/img509/7980/6sb7.jpg

step 6
open a new layer, and get a soft brush..normally that would be the circle brush with the blended edges..the 100 is best to use

now brush over the render specifically where u see the lighter parts of the render and over the face and u'll get something like this
http://img98.*************/img98/1064/7hz4.jpg

obviously u wont leave it like this so set that layer to overlay at 70%..naturally u can add layers to this and get a bigger light..or lower the opacity and get less light

u go from this
http://img98.*************/img98/1369/2nu5.jpg

to this

hope this helps, and goodluck and have fun with it
