This is for everyone who feels we have a right to show 'knee-jerk' reactions when our team plays the way they did today and actually expect them to show up on Sundays.

I mean if having an emotional response that doesn't serve any purpose is what you want, then by all means have at it. It's certainly fun to watch a meltdown.

However that approach never has and never will work for a professional sports team. If it did Ozzie Guillen wouldn't be the worst manager in baseball and Phil Jackson wouldn't be the greatest basketball coach of all time.

It was a sorry effort and an ugly loss to a decent team. However they did at least improve on the offensive line penalties that everybody was so concerned about a week ago. They've got to play smarter on offense and make the plays that are there and be tougher on defense and not get manhandled. All they can do is work on it for a week and come back and get a win. Of course Felix Jones should be concerned but that's a minor point.

And acting like everything is ok (ala Jerry Jones with the offensive line, and in general the team) for the past 15+ years has done great wonders for the team, right?

There is a distinction to be made between "acting like everything is ok," which I take to mean ignoring the problems that this team surely has, and not getting emotionally involved with a defeat.

I think everyone is generally upset but giving up in week 2 is why your going to get made fun of in here. Lol

This is what I don't get... A fan has an emotional reaction to a tough unexpected loss and they are told to relax and enhance the calm just because others accept inconsistency in a different manner. Here's a news flash. The OP has not given up after two weeks. He is just pissed like the rest of us... Now back to your regularly scheduled deflection exercise...

Im still trying to find a bridge!! I didnt realize there wasnt really any around where i live until after the game. Lol not totally giving up but after a so called "performance" like that its hard. If you really look at the schedule now its hard to see 5 more wins there let alone 8-9 which it'll take to get to the playoffs.

I can do the "bridge thing" but it cant be that high. The water cant be too cold.

I just want to cool off until next game.

Build one to jump off of...it might take you as long as it takes JJ to build a real team....:lmao2:then you may not need to jump.....

J/K really...but couldn't resist....

We this thread year after year after year.

People wouldn't jump off the edge if we had some kind of post season success to give us reassurance in the past.

I think a thread should be made to post all the fake "fans" of the Cowboys on this board because there are a lot of posters posting a lot of negative things that they are a "fan" of.
