June 1st are we expecting any moves?

I think we should take a strong look at trading for Ramsey from the Dolphins this year. If the fins are willing to eat some of his salary THIS year, then I’d do it. He gives us a starting corner this year, we move him to FS next year to replace Hooker, we trade/release Diggs in ‘26, and we use the cap savings from Diggs to re-sign Bland. One more year should give the rookie Revel a solid chance to show us what we have in him at corner. We could see a secondary in ‘26 consisting of Bland, Revel, Ramsey, and Thomas.

Yeah this is it for him. Big time bust
He's a big time bust, if you shared McClay's expectation "ability to rush the passer". It's our near obsession getting flex (usually DE/DT). Get Mazi up to his fighting weight and use him in creating gaps for our well stocked pass-rush (and size/strength) in the run game.

I would strongly consider cutting Trevon Diggs, Deuce Vaughn, and perhaps Donovan Wilson. The Diggs cut would be better this yr than next.

I know many would not like the Diggs cut but it’s better for the long haul. I think he will never be the same. Cut your losses. The Cowboys won’t do it though.
I agree Diggs even if he did come back to 90% of what he was that was still a business decision maker even in big moments.

When a guy won't give his all in a playoff game you're better off without him

We have an abundance of pass rushers and tight ends trade one for DJ reader and get the last piece to the puzzle

17 RB's we have, where's he going to have a spot to play? Feel good story is over, sucks we didn't use him, think he could have been good. Hopefully he'll go to a team and become a star so we can see how wrong we were for letting him go
Never saw the fasination with Duece

How do we know this?
Are we talking about Deuce?

I just don't think it happens. I wanted it to work out. Well, what I really wanted was Chase Brown as a later round back. But they went after Eric Scott instead. Then drafted Deuce in the 6th when I think he was likely to go undrafted.

Meh, if he has a shot we'll see this year. But with Blue being undersized and Vaughn not playing ST, I think they end up dropping Deuce.

We need the other backs to pass protect. Blue is already a liability there because of his size.

Deuce was a favor to Chris Vaughn. Bringing in Conor Riley was also likely a favor for Deuce and Chris. Or last ditch effort.

I just don't think he can earn it without a lot of help and/or luck. His size is a problem.

If the Lions are willing let go of Reader they probably are not interested in any defensive lineman the Cowboys could afford to trade. And with the tight ends the Lions already have which Cowboys tight end would they covet?

This again? No. He was the top player on their board when they were on the clock. Not new news.

No. Schotty made it clear he wanted to have a dominant run game and run more. He was the best in college. Assistant coaches he hired and draft show how committed he is to that.

No team is going to hire an assistant coach as a favor to a 6th round pick (or his dad) in his 3rd year.

I heard that the documentary Diggs put out is not current. In lieu of Jerry's negative comments, this documentary was from his previous injury. If true, this squarely contradicts Jerry's unprovoked criticism of how "lacadaisical" Diggs was towards attacking his rehab, previously.

If any of this is true, #7 can count his days. In the Cowboys eyes, they likely see Bland as being just as good (plus Bland willingly tackles) and will extend him, Revel is promising, and they can bring in Gilly.

Sad to see, because I like Diggs. I think he's a goner tho.
