Branch is from Rio Rancho NM. That's where I live. He went to Cibola HS. I too really like the kid. His dad still works for the City in Rio Rancho. I'm pulling for him. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if we were some how lucky enought to get that kid.

Kiper: Last year, I thought they would take a free safety (Roy Williams is a strong safety whose coverage skills are suspect). They have Keith Davis and drafted Pat Watkins in the fifth round last year, but they still need a top-echelon free safety. Florida's Reggie Nelson is one of most instinctive safeties in college and, if he comes out, should be the first safety taken. LSU's LaRon Landry was a four-year starter, although his ball skills are questionable at times. Nelson would be the best fit, but will he still be on the board that late in the first round? Another safety the Cowboys could look at in the third or fourth round is Utah's Eric Weddle, who is a Bill Parcells-type player: smart, tough and versatile.
