Romo was very relaxed back there. He is still not looking off enough and staring down way too much but it doesn't seem to cause too many problems. One pick off tonite directly attributable to that and at least as much blame on a very blaise Crayton not protecting the ball. But the flow of the game went well, he is always looking for a play downfield and under control as well as easily and effectively getting away from pressure. And getting from there to release quickly. He looks very skilled and far ahead of schedule for the number of games played. He is getting help from his receivers running to daylight and running to daylight where it is easy for Romo to see them and hit them in stride. They are making him look relaxed, confident, poised, and deadly. Romo had one bad throw I can remember although I'm going to bed before I look at the second half.

TO looks like a star number one WR. He's not preaching for the ball, he is flowing to the areas given in the route area, he is protecting the ball using his body very well, he is cognizant of the situation game wise, what is going on with the QB, and is making Romo's job easier by far. He's also putting up some good YAC.

Crayton is playing a reasonable game with a couple of good plays in the 1st half although he wasn't shining.

Witten seems very aware of the game, his assignments, and what is his best options/duties. He's finding the seams and openings, bringing surprising speed with it, and has developed that healthy arrogance needed for his role. And he's healthy enough to leave it on the field, calling it up then shutting it off. He's getting tougher some physically but a lot more that championship mentality. He's looking faster, stronger, more intense and basically is playing even smarter. Some of it must be rubbing off on Curtis.

JJ and MB had good games. JJ left some yardage on the field in a short look. I'll finish it from the film we can see but there are some continuing patterns. It's not bad but I think if he would look for the yards or more likely dare to take them we'd see someone more like the first year. But he does run pretty hard, is getting to the hole very quickly at times, looks decisive and is doing a fair job.

MB is definitely continuing to improve and deserves the ball like he's been getting it. He is leaving less yards on the field and is generating a decent bit. He is significantly better than JJ less screens and most of the draws. He's not far behind many of those. And definitely the go to guy on the goaline even if JJ is not a bad choice either.

While the skill players definitely bring results, but the OL gets my game ball today if I only had one to give out. Course I wouldn't just give one cause Witten, TO, and Romo deserve one. But if only one was given my choice would be the OL. They've been good since preseason but they are gradually getting better. Romo is getting all the time he needs and he is doing it. They are run blocking better and it is showing. An extra game ball to Columbo the enforcer. The interior is probowl and Columbo is playing well enough to get there. Hotel can do it.

Red should get one every game. We may have gone to the SB last year if he and Sparano had been calling plays with a hands off approach by the HC. Very few mistakes or rut rows here.

Basically the offense is dominant and are a threat to score everytime they get the ball anywhere on the field at any time. That is the strongest thing I've said in a long time.

Gotta go but I'll try to pontificate some on the D for the first half tomorrow. That's if it's interesting.

Great Romo just threw his pick. On well. I stand behind that ball being slightly underthrown, too soft, and throw too blaisely. And Crayton needed to act as if that ball belonged to him and not the other way around.

Great win tonite guys. Great fans. All is well right now in Cowboys Land.

It looks like during the bye week, the offense took on a slightly different look. I think Garrett chanaged some things. Also, Romo is starting to figure out that throwing to Barber out of the back field is a recipe for greatness.

After throwing to Barber, those easy passes, then he exploded down field. Blitzing Romo is a bad Idea.
