Alot of times incoming Head Coaches will keep a coach or two on staff for a year. I know Meyers last two OC's are head coaches at Texas and Ohio State. I dont see either of them coming to Dallas if Meyer is hired.

Kevin Wilson is a possibility. However, I think there is a chance Meyer may decide to keep Moore on the staff for a year if he is hired.

If Jerry wants Moore to stay it'll be the same ****-show all over again.

Let Meyer or whoever have full control over coaches.

The Front office is really this teams worst enemy at times.

Im not saying Jerry is going to force Moore on Meyer. Meyer wont take the the job under thoses conditions.

Im saying Meyer may choose to keep Moore on, because retain a small part of the outgoing staff is typical of new hires. That and the fact most of Meyers top offensive assistants aren't available, may have him retain Moore for a year

Oh I know, I was just stating that as a stand alone comment.

Like if Meyer wants to keep him, perfect, maybe he sees some potential in him.

Can already foresee Jerry keeping Moore...wether the incoming coach likes it or not. Which will keep away the best candidates

moore wont be here if Meyer is the hire. That's simply not how Urban does things. Its his way,or no way.
But here is the problem. Who of Meyers top assistants are available on offense? Day and Herman arent leaving OSU and Texas to be offensive coordinators. Maybe Texas moves on from Herman next year (Horns fans??) But right now Kevin Wilson his only recent coordinator thats not a HC at a major program. He may not have the guy he wants.

That last point is where its very common for an incoming coach to keep a member or two from to outgoing staff.

then say hello to HC RICHARD OR RIVERA. Meyer wont agree to that.

that's a good point..so MAYBE he gives Moore a try for a year? Until his guy is available? That's an idea. OR MAYBE Meyer calls the plays himself the first year?

He won’t. Moore is too pass happy for Meyer.

He is all about balance

I think Meyer would likely call his own plays year 1 if his guy at OC isn't available right away. I just cant see him running a Boise state offense lol...That's not how he has won Championships.

Meyer calling plays is a real possibility. However even then he will need an OC. Play caling is only part of the job

I can see Marc Columbo staying...Marinelli resigns and Richard being full time D coord. Outside of that...no one is spared. In fact, Richard may not make the cut.
