So, what if...

Dallas signed Ray Rice?

Brent
Hardy
Rice
Randall (TBD)

Would his skill set excite you?

Would his past give you pause for concerns?

Would you root for him since he was a Cowboys?

Would you buy his jersey?

Would you then think RKG means something, unless the FO smells a way to win with not RKG's?

Does this mean Garrett is not ion charge?

Would Dale Hansen have a Myocardial infarction?

Ray Rice is done. He looked tired and worn out prior to his off the field stuff. Those tires are bald.

IF Ray Rice was the best Running Back, still realtivly young for his position, on the upswing of his career and not the downside of his career...you might have a better point.

However Ray Rice is on the downhill slide of his career. He was not the same player last year as he has been in previous years.

Hardy is not on the down slide of his career. He was the top pass rushing DE in FA.

Teams will put up more for talented players than they will from average or down sliding players.

Also...RKG is so played out to mean this or that.

IT means whatever the coach, owner or front office wants it to mean in order to justify them signing or drafting a player.

Fans also use it to justify their opinions in order to Backup or Belittle the coach, owner or front office.

I don't know which is more annoying....hearing the coach use it to justify things, hearing the press to push an agenda and narrative or fans using it to backup or belittle.

Either is is weak sauce and played out....that is just as much to blame on Coach Speak cliches as it is the media and fans.
