what are the chances Jerry made the move to get away from that big contract and bring TO back under different terms. Not saying I necessarily want this, but didn't see this "plan" thrown around.

I doubt if TO would be shocked or blindsided if this was the deal and I don't see TO coming back if he was indeed shocked or blindsided because I doubt his ego would allow it.

So...I think the chance of that happening is about 0% :laugh1:

But hey who knows...anything is possible I guess.

If that was the case, I think he would just try to restructure before releasing him.

No that wouldn't be the case. If he just wanted to lower the cap hit or something he'd have gone to TO and asked him to restructure.

You don't cut a player what will mean 9 million on your cap, without them, just so you can turn around and try and resign him to a different deal.
