Suppose the Cowboys find themselves with Romo at the helm and meet the resurging Patriots in the Superbowl (far off, I know, but indulge me...)
Would today's media focus on the dynasty v. dynasty aspect (a story that writes itself) or would they focus more on Parcells v. Belichick?
My guess is the latter, as today's sports media seems more interested in delivering stories that disparage someone personally, no matter how innocuous ("Bill P. can't win without Belichick," see all T.O. coverage) as opposed to historical hard-hitting pieces that we used to see.
What say you?
