Just a week ago we looked like one of the best teams in the league

and today....take away your best player in Zeke, your best Olineman in Tyron, and lose your best defensive player in the first quarter in Lee and it all falls apart. Everything.

The defense was humming initially, but as soon as Lee came out it went down hill fast. Moving Hitch, who was playing an outstanding game, to WLB was the biggest mistake ever! Jaylon should only rush the passer at this point in his career and nothing more. Oscan had a great game last week and sucked today. Our safeties literally might be the worst pair in pro football.

Our RB's are awful. Rod Smith? Lol. Dez actually played pretty well early, but has far too many drops now.

This didn't feel like Denver to me. This felt like when Romo went down. It also pointed directly at the coaches especially at MLB and Tackle. Both were HUGE liabilities and BOTH dictated this game IMO.

right and hamstring injuries are likely to take a few weeks. and tsmith is likely to have issues at least for the rest of the season. and we know about zeke.

well we've always been called a top heavy team. this team is incapable of building quality depth b/c of the mid round draft failures.

So who do you like in the 1st round? ;)

we need MLB and WLB more than DL right now if we franchise DLaw and sign 95 to long term contract.
unfortunately the mock drafts have no LBs in the top 10 or even top 15...
we also need a LT and there are 3 OTs in the top 15 in several mocks.

The four most important players on the Cowboys are: Sean Lee, Tyrone Smith, Zeke Elliott, and Dak Prescott. Three of that group are out...

I'm just amazed at how much better Bell looked off the bench then Green. The same could be said when Green was the starting guard early on, and Cooper comes in and is far better. Who is making these decisions?!?

Also, with Jaylon, I know Marinelli has to know he can't play, so who is pulling that trigger? We're talking awful. I can't remember a Cowboys MLB that bad! Seriously

Yep. Doesn't help Dan Bailey is out either. We take for granted how automatic he is every time within 50 yards.

Didn't Bell give up 2 sacks just in the 4th quarter?

Essentially that's worse than Green giving up 4 sacks in 3 quarters.

I can't even remember. I think at that point Dak went into Romo mode and into the fetal position on sacks!

Dallas needs new schemes on both sides of the ball. They are antiquated and do not fit this team who isn't deep with an injury history. We need to scheme in order to win when one of the cogs in the wheel is broken. But, they rarely go into a game with a new and unfamiliar gameplan.

It takes X's and O's these days to keep your opponent off guards, not the same repetitive plan that the coaches stubbornly stick with. It does work when every piece of the puzzle is put together but that is a rarity.

Our HC does not know how to attack other teams weaknesses, or at least, doesn't want to. They continue to put square pegs in round holes hoping it works.

A little creativity and imagination would be a welcomed sight :(

I think thats an indictment of how poor the league has been this year all round, no real standouts with any degree of consistency, save the Eagles who I think are riding some early season luck to a winning streak.

If we are healthy, we are one of the best, no doubt. The talent on this team is good enough to overcome our poor coaching and the malignant officiating we receive. Lose 4 or 5 of our best players and we are a sub .500 team and right there with all the other teams in mediocrity land.
