I’m 36 and grew up in Dallas watching the Cowboys religiously for the last 30 years. With comments from Jerry and Stephan I am starting to question why I watch at all. I drag myself Sunday after Sunday to watch and support a team whose owner only cares about doing things his way and profit. I hope I am wrong but if Jerry keeps JG after this debacle after the year I will be done. Am I the only one that feels this way?
66yo and have followed the Cowboys since year one (1960)...and I’ve seen all the ups and downs.
Granted, we’ve never suffered a stretch of mediocrity like this before but, for what it’s worth, try forgetting the big picture (GM Jerry sux) and just take it one game at a time.
While I don’t always believe the Cowboys WILL win a particular game, I always know they CAN win any game they’re in (Any Given Sunday Theory). Focusing on the individual contest keeps me going.
Embrace the struggle and stay the course.
