Just bout an iPad 2

For the past year or so, I have read all of my books on my iPhone Kindle App. I had been thinking about getting an iPad for a while and finally broke down and got one today.

I am pretty impressed by it. What surprised me was how hard it was to find a black iPad, seems like the white one is the most popular at the moment.

A co-worker felt the Asus eepad transformer would have been a better buy and after mulling things over, I just decided to go with a product I felt I would be more familiar with and one that all other tablets are compared too.

Now I just need to wait for July 12th, so I can download A Dance with Dragons and read it on the iPad .

Last week I ran across a prototype game controller for them online somewhere.

It clips onto the frame and uses velcro to secure it around the front. The controller itself wraps over the screen's edge across the bottom to the back. It partially uses the pressure on the screen's corners to control the game with your thumbs and your index and middle finger have push buttons on the back of the unit.

You could hold the iPad within the palms of your hand, using your ring and pinkie to stabilize it while you played. I was impressed.

You could almost say the future of gaming on an iPad has the potential to be epic.
