Didn't We sign Dez after much toing and froing and booing and hooing, followed by a last-minute make-up and hugathon?

well they said they were going to franchise him if he didnt sign their contract, and Dez wanted out of the babysitter contract and more guaranteed money.
It went on for awhile, then jones boys caved, and gave him what he wanted, he showed up out of shape and with his feelings hurt,
and I think he hurt his foot in TC dunking balls over the goalposts, then hurt it again worse, in the giants game.
They never got their moneys worth out of dez, so I imagine they haven't forgotten all that.
