one bad thing about the AOA pick is we wont be trading up into the top 5 to grab Robinson, who is without a doubt baring injury a lockdown CB in the NFL.
He'll be 2011 ROTY.
Jake Locker
Franchise QB. Better than anyone in the 2010, 2009, or 2008 classes.
Everyone talks about how bad 2011 class is, its looking as stacked if not more stacked than the 2010 class at the top, plus its got 4 potential first round QBs and 3 WRs.
Holy crack I can't believe I did that.CanuckCowboysFan;3374226 said:LOL. Who the **** is Patrick Robinson from the 2011 class? Patrick Robinson went this year, 32.
You're thinking Patrick Peterson, young fella.
And he's a shutdown corner. Shutdown corners don't put up the flashy numbers that warrant a ROTY selection. Could happen though, doubtful.

DeAndre Mcdaniel, Julio Jones.

I didn't know the thread was for pet-cats that the Cowboys will target, just players you are high on in general. As I believe Peterson & Locker will both have outstanding careers.BraveHeartFan;3374423 said:The one problem with Jake Locker is that, likely, if he's as good as many think he's going to go at the top of round 1.
Most likely we'll be no where near the top of round 1 and even if we could get there it's unlikely we would to take him.
I say that not because he wouldn't be good but if we're going to spend a high first round pick on a QB you're doing so with the belief that in 1-3 years, tops, that he's going to be your starter.
Now with Romo only being 30 years old it seems highly unlikely to me that we'd spend a pick on Locker unless the kid winds up falling way down into later rounds.
I don't know a lot about the guy but I got the impression that he's going to be a high first.

Barkley is a good choice and will likely be a top 5 pick in the 2012 draft.
