Just for fun, let's say we had the #1 pick...

those are 2 players that would never live up to the lofty billing of being #1 overall, I don't see many who are, but still
In your opinion...

Just want to leave that qualifier out there.

Trade down 4 spots and pick up extra picks. Then draft A.J. Hawk, and move Ayodele back to the outside where he and Burnett can fight it out. Or probably end up drafting Gocong in the 3rd or 4th for OLB insurance purposes.

It's a no brainer....select Reggie Bush....then trade Julius Jones for a #2 or #3 pick.

Trade down a few spots....

Pick up a #2 or #3....

1. D'Brickashaw Ferguson
2. Best Guard
3. Maurice Stovall/other WR
3. Pat Watkins FS

or....

1. A.J. Hawk (trade down lower)
2. Best Guard on the board
2. Best OT on the board
3. Pat Watkins FS

Well, I had the Texans in the Mock Draft, and the only 2 options I had considered regardless of need were these. 1) Draft Reggie Bush 2) Trade and get a crapload of picks. Just to move down to 4, at that value, it would cost the Jets their 2 1sts, 2nd, and a mid round pick.
Bush is the ONLY player worth the #1 slot. Period.
