if Seattle was talking and asked for Zack Martin in exchange for Earl Thomas plus draft pick or picks whatever
what would they have to give for a perennial all pro guard, oline being a great need
for a perennial all pro safety, also a great need
could you get a high enough pick or any, Zack still under contract where Earl is not
to draft a starting guard plus use Dallas 1st or 2nd to get 1
end up with 2 starting guards, all pro lt and center plus Lael and Earl

people always over value their teams players but i think Zack is more valuable though they are about the same age

i get huge trades with blue chip players is very rare but as i said its just maybe thinking how to get better overall

dont kill me

I would ask for Thomas, their 1,2,3 this year, 1,2 next year, and their 1 the following year and laugh because you know they would never except that trade.

Wait you are saying Martin and picks for Thomas? What's the point of this thread?

i explained the point i thought

Earl Thomas is a top nfl free safety, Dallas hasnt had one of his caliber since forever

hes one of the leaders of the Seattles team, his value is undeniable
went to school in Texas, Dallas would be coming home
in final year of his contract

Zack is a top 3 guard, arguably the best although many say Quenton Nelson has his potential and at the least is a lock for a blue chip lineman
Seattle needs linemen

he too is in final contract year
i think a top safety is harder to find than guard, average guards can play well where average safety play will get exposed easier

they are basically the same age
both elite

the only question is really
1 would you trade
2 what would it take for you to feel this is a fair trade

Zach Martin is a very valuable player for our offense. To give that up we need to get....

Earl Thomas
Richard Sherman (Long in tooth)
and
1st round pick.
and 3rd round pick.

If Thomas was 24 and it came with multiple picks I would sure as heck listen.

As much as I'd love Earl Thomas as a Cowboy there is no way Im trading the best OG in the NFL for him.
