I know some of the idea's may be silly but play along. I'm really looking to just talk Cowboys and forget how upset we all are.

#1 Did in a round about way last nights game save Roy Williams career in Dallas? Some thing tells me after seeing the horrible effort not only in last nights game but over the course of the year that Jerry will not be so fast to pull the trigger on Roy Williams

#2 Is Tashard Choice auditioning for other clubs? How can Dallas justify keeping Choice on the Bench next year when Jones returns healthy? There is simply not enough carries to go around for 3 RB's. What are the odds he becomes trade bait if Dallas become smitten with some one in the draft?

#3 What big move do you see Dallas making? Coaching change, surprise cut, big name FA......it can be anything

#4 Is Dallas as obsessed with getting a true 3-4 NT and moving Ratliff to DE as most of us fans are? I believe Canty will not be resigned making the move of Ratliff to DE much more needed.

#5 Would Tony Romo benefit from a true QB coach? I believe Romo leans on Garrett to much and vice versa. Dallas would benefit greatly from a veteran coach who is used to handling high profile QB's.

#6 With this being possibly the last capped year does Jerry start looking to revert to his free spending ways of the 90's a year early and try to make a big FA splash and build some excitement for the new stadium?

I agree, we have really missed Roy38's tackling and last night was a prime example of it. True, he's not what he used to be but he is still better than Hamlin at stopping 260lb RBs from going to the house.

I don't see any reason why we would give up one of our 3 RBs yet. They are all young and under contract so why not see who steps up and who we should keep first before we make any moves with them. This season proved why we needed all 3 as Jones went down with an injury and Barber was hurting all season. If we hadn't had 3 RBs we would have been even more screwed than we already are.

I don't know that we need to go after any big name FAs right now. We have tons of talent already, we just need a HC that can get them to play as a team.

I do NOT see Terrell Owens in a Cowboys uniform next season.

I don't think we have been at all disappointed in Ratliff this year but I could see us drafting a wide-body NT. If he is starting material then we could move Ratliff to DE, otherwise I think we stand pat.

#5 Would Tony Romo benefit from a true QB coach? I believe Romo leans on Garrett to much and vice versa. Dallas would benefit greatly from a veteran coach who is used to handling high profile QB's.
I think so. I have been less than impressed with Garrett this year both as a coordinator and as a play caller. A true QB coach (not Wade Wilson please) would help Romo a lot IMO. I'm not sure who I would bring in but we need someone who has experience with it.

I'm sure Jerry will want to bring in some big name player like he always does. Unfortunately, it is more about appearances than substance with him a lot of times. I just hope it's not Ray Lewis. I hate that guy. I don't care how good he is, I can't stand him. I would prefer we bring in a top OL and let Kosier be a backup.

We don't need any more superstars on this team so #6 doesn't even need to be thought of.

I hope you're right, Thumper, but I can't see Jerry letting him go.

Ray Lewis has been in trouble with the law so he's a great cannidate in Dallas.

Yeah, it's probably just wishful thinking on my part. :bang2:

Why else did we trade for Roy11?

I agree with you, but you never know. I would bet even Jerry traded for him as a long-term emergency option. *If you catch my drift*

I would take Lewis in a heartbeat. He will not allow Wade to run Camp Cupcake in '09

Perhaps we can get a new ST coordinator

I want to clean out the trash....Carpenter, Henry, Ball, Brown, Procter, Sam I Am, AARPson....

I want to get some more speed and youth in our secondary...2 CBs Joe Burnett, UCF and Mark Parsons, Ohio and 2 S - Rashad Johnson, Alabama....Sean Smith, Utah...Darcel McBath, TT (2 of the 3)

I want to get 2 OLBs - Connor Barwin, Kenny Mainor or Phillip Hunt

I want a new ILB - Daniel Holtzclaw, Eastern Michigan

I want to get a NT - Sammie Lee Hill, Stillman

I want a legit backup QB - Mike Reilly, Central Washington

I want to get 2 to 3 new OL (1 to replace Gurode at starting C, 1 to groom as Flozell's replacement, and 1 for quality backups). I think Holland will be our starting LG next season. we can go after C Jonathan Luigs, Arkansas...OL Dallas Reynolds, BYU....and maybe Garrett Reynolds, UNC.
