First, let me say I'm good with the Cowboys showing up tonight with a respectable performance and losing. In a year where they are clearly out of it, the pain I will feel in the loss is like an investment if the Cowboys can get a top 5 player in the draft. Specifically one of the top two corners Prince or Peterson.

Peterson can come in and imediately upgrade the secondary and hopefully send that piece of crap Jenkins to the bench. I am so sick of watching him give up big plays but his tackling is so freakin bad it's beyond pathetic.

Not only does he turn and run with McCoy on the 50 yd run, giving up another 25 yds, but on the Eagles final drive he runs along side McCoy again, waiting for Egor of all people to come up anmd make the tackle 19 yds down field!

I'm so praying for that pick right now.

Oh, and way to go Choice. An autograph? Are you kidding me?

I'm a big Mike Jenkins supporter, but even I'm tired with his piss-poor halfhearted efforts to tackling.

I thought coming out of the draft Jenkins was more physical than this but he just sucks at tackling. Its like he wasn't shown how to tackle or something. That needs to be worked on and drilled in his head in the offseason.

He'll never make another pro bowl if he doesn't look at his play and start working his tail off.

Good news is, he's sucking right now so might as well extend him for a few more years on the cheap.

It's his angles too. What's his problem? He turns simple plays into big gains, he takes a terrible angle then hesitates?

Unfortunately, Newman isn't playing any better.

Who'd a thunk Scandrick would be playing better than either right now.

I still can't understand how bad our defensive backs are compared to last year!? Maybe is was the pass rush and blitz packages that made them look good. The truth comes out this year for sure. They suck!!

Newman actually manned up, closed, and made an open field tackle tonight - the exact think Jenkins doesn't do.

Mike Jenkins desperately needs an offseason.

It's looking like a DB or 2 is a top priority this offseason.

Peterson would be nice because hes basically the Dez Bryant of
CB's.

Does anyone think that maybe with a better coach Jenkins could be better? Or do people just think he is complete trash?

On the exact same player in the exact same situation. Jenkins again decided turning and running in the other direction was a better defensive technique.

And his coverage skills have been exposed.

Last year proved Jenkins has potential to be really good. Hopefully a new coach can at least get him back to that.

Peterson has the ability to eliminate his side of the field...

this must be why jenkins fell so far in the draft. he seems like a lazy player who doesnt like to tackle. Those type of players hurts defensives.
I know asaunte samuels is like this too but he gets ints and make plays so far this season jenkins has not.

He's been coached by campo for too long. Let's give the guy a second chance under a real coach.

As important as the head coach are all the position coaches for this team to reach the next level. We are so lacking.

I don't think I watched the same game all y'all watched. Are we mad about the fingertip miss on the long Jackson td?

Supposedly he made a few more business decisions.

Taking the bad angle on the long McCoy run? It's hard to guess what people react to after a loss in here these days.
