Im tired so some of this may sound wishy washy but i'll say what I can remember off the top of my head for now.

First off the offense looked killer.

Romo's timing is unbelievable. That Out route he threw to Crayton at the 1st of the game for about 7 yards was such a pretty pass. It looked so dangerous but the corner had no chance of it because of how well it was thrown.

Romos entire feel for the game is easy to notice. Romo is going to have a really big year this year.

Also Romo is doing this play fake when we run Draw/Delays with Barber.

When the ball is snapped he acts like its a handoff, then he quickly acts like its a pass, and then he hands it off.

By the time Romo has done all that the defense has spent to much time thinking and next thing they know they have a beast named Marion Barber sitting right in there lap.

Barber was fabulous tonight.

Crayton is just a good football player guys. He gets better every year and I have a feeling he is only going to get better this year.

You may not like it but the guy is a starter in this league. He can play.

Stanback looked very elusive on that first return. I was hoping to get to see him tonight. I hope he is ok?

Sam Hurd played some good ball. Im looking forward to seeing Miles Austin just as much as anyone but Sam I AM Hurd can play. We will be more than fine with 17 on the field.

Oline was fantastic.

Deon Anderson is going to get some chances to make some plays this year. So far he is showing what he can do in the receiving game and all signs are positive.

------

Defense

We did a really solid job in man coverage tonight but when we ran zone we looked lost.

The flats were just wide open. This is something that we can scheme out but we didnt do a good job of scheming it out last year and I hope we get that squared away this year.

There were a few times that the Texans QB would just make bad passes and there are guys in this league that are going to connect on some of those balls Schaub couldnt complete.

Getting Newman back is going to help tremendously but I hope we get those out routes under control.

Scandrick also looked good out there with the 1st group. He didnt look lost at all from my recolations.

---

2nd team O.

Brad Johnson played good tonight guys. He was accurate and if there was a guy open he found them.

Bennett looked good, Amendola was solid, Jefferson had some ups and downs.

-----

Thats all I got for now I need to pass out.

I won some REM tickets of 1033 on the way up some im pretty pumped about that.

Also is there any update on that guy that got hurt for Houston on their kickoff coverage? It looked pretty serious.

No Problem.

For anyone who has never been to a preseason game before to me I think it was worth it.

If its the 3rd preseason game go to it. 1,2, & 4 I probably wouldn't go to.

Also you may want to start heading toward the stadium at least 3 hours ahead of time to get to your seat in a comfortable time without rushing.

General Parking is 30 Dollars which is just absolutely rediculous.

I bought BOTH of my tickets off Ebay in July for 35 Dollars and they were 50 dollars a piece face value. Cant beat that.

There really isn't a bad seat in Texas Stadium and I imagine the new stadium will be ten times better as far as viewing the game goes. (No duh CATCH)

The walk to the stadium once you get there can be pretty brutal for some people.

Once you finally get there and get set down Texas Stadium feels like a sauna.

Then the Cowboys come out and all is good.

I also want to say Marcus Spears played a good game last night. I should have mentioned his name in my original post.

He was very actice.

----

We just have to get that out route under control. Everytime the Texans needed to complete a pass they looked for the out to the wide side of the field.

I think that's going to tick us off all season. I hope I'm wrong.

On my way back to Houston i picked up the Houston Chronicle "Fractured Spinal Cord, regained movement in his arms and legs."

I'm glad someone else noticed that Zone stuff they run, and I know what they are trying to do. I'm pretty sure when they zone blitz, they are trying to force the QB to make an inaccurate throw, thus our players are sitting there watching the QB ready to pick it off and run the other way.

I personally think we are better in man-to-man coverage.

Crayton was bashed repeatedly this off-season and I was one of few who had taken up for him. The guy has one bad game, and we blame him for it, when the entire defense stunk it up, since the WORLD KNOWS WE SUCK IN 2 MINUTE DEFENSE.

Spears played great, you may not be able to take him off the field. And running wide on Columbo's side is going to be the key for our running game. That guy can pull.

Should've mentioned your favorite Sooner, Roy, also.

I wonder if REM can still git r' done like they used to.
