I just doubt that he threw his helmet 20 yards, thats a long ways. He might have rolled it 5-7 yards but he didnt go Kyle Turley on it. If this was a big deal ESPN would be all over it.

ESPN are too busy slurping up the Boston Red Sawks and the New York Yankees this time of year.

Chuck Norris could both throw a bomb and catch it running past TO.

I got to watch 5 days of practice: so here goes my observations

Looks like another solid draft: Carpenter looks good, great feet, has a knack for the ball and covers well.

Fasano looks good, very good hands, runs good routes and works hard

Skylar green has quick feet, runs nice routes, now if he could just catch the ball more often. BP was screaming at him at weds. morning practice for not knowing where to line up.

Pat watkins has a nose for the ball, was in a couple of times in the carolina set def. with the first team on tues for Davis. He's so tall and skinny so he looks a little akward going through the drills.

Hatcher seems to be quick enough off the corner, just looks like he needs to get stronger, he looked better with each practice.

For the rest I will get to those.

For the offense, the QB look out of sync with the WR's. I dont think any of the QB's have looked very good so far

JJ looks to be cutting good, with good quickness, and it dont hurt he is built like a brick house

MB looks the same, although he struggled in Pass protection on tues

The WR's look good as a group, they all seem to be running good routes, showing good speed, Crayton caught my eye as being stronger and quicker and was catching everything in sight until tues and weds when he dropped 3 balls. I joked with him that I never seen him drop that many all year.

The TE position is set, again good routes, good hands, Witten looks good, and Fasano has made some eye dropping catches so far.

Now the Oline....... Wow I hope things get better because right now it dont look good. The run blocking looks ok, but the pass protection is bad.

Gurode has actually looked the best to me. Johnson has been getting manhandled by Ratliff/Stanley/ferg. In one particular pass protection drill he was beat and called for holding 3 times. Gurode has been working now exclusively with the first team.

Flo looks slow out of his stance and appears to be hobbeling a bit, Demarcus beat him a couple of times in practice.

Rivera looks like the best is behind him

Kosier looks ok, nothing special

Rob P looks stronger but still has trouble with the speed rush

Now for the TO outburst at yesterdays Practice

First at tues practice you could see BP jawing at TO as he was walking to the sidelines,TO turned and ran back on the field.

Now for the weds morning practice: TO runs a fly pattern and has Henry by a

step and Bledsoe underthrows him and Henry knocks it down. So T.O. comes to the sidelines and throws his hands up,not the firt time I seen him do this.

So T.O. goes back out 2 plays later and runs a great pattern and looses Henry and Bledsoe dumps it off. So OWENS COMES TO THE SIDELINES AND RIPS HIS HELMET OFF AND THROWS IT 20 YDS, after a alone tantrum, Bledsoe pats him on the rear and T.O. starts talking to JJ.

So far Bledsoe has undertrown him on a couple of occassions and he has not looked happy in his body motions. Stay TUNED: The defense will come later along with pics.

Many thanks to Cali for advise and overall it was a good time
Nice read.

I'm amazed that anyone thinks Al Johnson is anything but a speed bump.

I have a feeling Demarcus would be beating a healthy Flo a couple times too.

TO is a freaking moron and putting on a Cowboys jersey sure as hell isn't going to change that so him throwing his helmet is a non story.

Johnson has not looked good, I was hoping he might do better, but he still gets pushed around. Gurode has been doing a pretty good job from what I can see.

Ware has beat Flo a couple of times,Flo just gets out of his stance and Ware is by him,he has hobbled a little on that knee

yeah but the problem is TO wears people down...if he keeps this us bledsoe will snap trust me...then all h$ll will break loose...TO is a little baby! he needs to grow up...all the while he is getting ALOT of players to like him...and when he snaps and is disciplined it is going to rip our team apart...thats just what he did in philly!

Bledsoe needs to get up to speed,,, given the game changing abilities of Owens, there's no excuse for failing to see him wide open for a TD. He should be the first, middle and hopefully the last read!!

Bledsoe just needs to get comfortable throwing to TO, it'll come, Drew is a vet, he knows what he's doing out there

bledsoe is handling it properly.

I'll call the original poster out. With all the media that has been there, they all want to get the first blowup...if it had happened...it would be everywhere.

Dale Hansen and dozens of other mediots want to be the first one to say "I told you so!"

I can't believe this isn't anywhere else.

I agree this would be a sotry had it actually happened

here we go I found an article about Bledsoe going over to TO and "pats him on the rear"

The helmet ripping and throwing was obviously made up here is the article

Upon looking at archives I noticed diehard2231 did not want Owens here and how convienant is it that a TO hater was the only one to witness the TO explosion? One of diehards TO posts

gonna rip us apart

If indeed T.O threw his helmet 20 yard in the air. It would be front page news, and leading Sportcentre. And by reading the reports from Grizz he never mention anything like this occur. So, i believe this story B.S

The biggest mistake you can do is make excuses for TO. When the Eagles and Niners both had TO have mini blow ups on them. Everyone was always like TO is just being competitive! We want him to be competitive! The others were saying how this sort of stuff is normal and being overblown by the media.

But these are all signs of imminent blow-ups. He did both if these "minor" things in San Fran and Philly. Each team's respective fans both said it was no big deal. Next thing they know he's ripping the teams apart.

He'll do it in Dallas too. If not in 06, then definitely in 07. I don't see why any Cowboys fans will think he won't, other than blind optimism.

A.Johnson is what he is. A nice guy that can't play. ( I guess he's a nice guy)

T.O. is what he is - A butthole who CAN play.

If I'm concerned about anything it isn't TO - it's the OL. I still say they didn't do enough about it but time will tell.

I see what you're saying, but I wouldn't necessarily say Johnson can't play. He just needs to be in a zone blocking scheme. I think he'd be a very good center in Atlanta or Denver.

first off, dont call me a liar,I was there, and before you post an article make sure it is the right day and article. I WAS THERE AND WATCHED IT HAPPEN ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE STANDING ALONG THE FENCE! I guess you want to call out my 15 year old son too and tell him he's a liar, and looking up an archive and trying to pass off I am lying because I dont like him, shows your maturity level

To thinki you believe as well as others that me being 41 years old with 3 kids would tell lies, your right on top of things. Laughable at best!! I will say it one more time so follow: it took about 5 seconds at best for it to happen,so if you were not looking you didn't catch it.

A 20-yard helmet throw is pretty noticable. I don't think you're lying, I'm sure you saw him get upset, but the story sounds exagerated. Considering you saw it, and no members of the litany of media that were there saw it, makes your account of such a demonstrative outburst a little more suspect to us. This would be huge news - and they definitely would have reported on it had it gone down like you said it did.

I'm sure you saw him get pissed off. He's a competitive guy, it's not going well, he's going to be ticked sometimes. It just seems the circumstances were probably a little different.

The only thing that kept Michael Irvin from having the same image as TO was Troy Aikman reigning him in at times

Not too sure about that...

It may be early in the preseason but at least it's football. Lousy as it is and will be for another few weeks, it's better than anything we've seen the last six months and I'm happy with it. It's TC and all the craziness that goes along with it, but it's football. Fans are going crazy and over-reacting to almost everything they see, but it's football. We're over-reacting for the same reason a starving man attacks a buffet. I love it all.

Thank God Almighty, it's football time again.

You may resume your arguments now, but like the starving man at the buffet, try to pause every now and then to catch your breath and burp and don't forget to fart every now and then, even if there's no one alse around to appreciate it.
Are you ready for some Football!?!?
