Just heard on the Dan Patrick show that we have to go to SF next season again?

I know that's why we're facing again. But why would it be in SF for the second year in a row?
There are two different situations that decide where the teams play. 1 is full division rotation, 1 is divisional rank similarity. Both situations have their own unique home and away rules.

NFCE vs NFCW is full division rotation. 2023 was at SF, so 2026 will be at DAL. 1 seed vs 1 seed is divisional rank similarity. 2024 will be at NFCW with similar rank, 2025 will be at NFCE with similar rank.

In 2023 Dallas plays at SF due to full division rotation rules. in 2024, Dallas plays at SF due to divisional rank similarity rules.

How does that make sense? I guess first place schedule is why we're facing again, but why wouldn't it be in Dallas this time? We just faced them in SF this season.
its because of the seedings. we finished first. the NFC west finished first and they play against each other and this time we go there. its all preset on where you finish and where you played last time around. its coicedence.

It’s a PRE-DETERMINED rotation, and as fair as it could possibly be.

Why do people think the league just makes this up to screw the Cowboys?

damn imagine if the 1992 Cowboys would have let going to Candlestick in the NFC Championship ruin their chances at a Super Bowl. Im sure Troy was shaking in his boots.

I’m glad. Can we finally get this monkey off our backs?
Seriously!! The 92 cowboys showed they were champs the day they went to SF and beat them…..this team MUST be able to not be intimidated and go in there and play bully ball right back at them…..we won’t pass them to the SB if we can’t.

How do yall still not know how scheduling is determined?
I know, right - I was thinking to myself, is this a trick question??

Here's the thing, we COULD have faced SF at home in the playoffs (and had the bye) had we beat them earlier in the year. We did not. Makes total sense that we'd be forced to play them in SF again.

Actually if we had just beaten Arizona we'd be the #1 seed. We both finished 12-5 we'd be13-4 instead. Or not gave up the game winning FG to Miami.

Then again maybe not, 49ers probably didn't put full effort into beating Rams yesterday because they had already wrapped up #1 maybe they win that game if #1 seed was still on the line.

The refs hate us. The schedule makers hate us. It’s all rigged against us

I wouldn’t be shocked if we had to play @ Philly again next year either. Seems like we always have to play there.

Niners 100% play starters against Rams with #1 seed on the line. And given that they lost by only 1 point to Rams with several key starters sitting, I think it's safe to say they win that game.
