Stephen Jones is why.

Rawls probably got offered a little more and also saw that Seattle is a team willing to pay RB's based on Lynch.

There have been too many of these "unlucky" misses in the last few years.
Eric Weddle was another guy we thought we had and now he will be a probowl safety for the Ravens.
Plus all the backs that just didn't fall our way in the last draft.

The word is out on us.
Players and agents know not to deal with Dallas because Stephen Boy Wonder Jones is still trying to prove to the other owners how smart he is.

Tooting my own horn...but I was calling him a good sleeper to take a chance on but he did have a lot of red flag issues.

Part that kills me was the idea that we went all that way without taking a RB, we knew we wanted him as an undrafted rookie...yet we trade back into the last round to get Rawls...oops I mean Swaim....SWAIM.

Why not just take the chance on getting Rawls with that 7th pick. It would have been worth the gamble.
