Every single day we hear about how the Jets offense is putrid and that Mark Sanchez should be benched...

Through 8 games

Jets offense - 168 pts scored
Cowboys offense - 150 pts scored

absolutely, positively embarrassing...

not blaming Romo here...get garrett the heck out of here

To borrow a line from a famous Police song...

Is a humiliating kick in the crotch

That is how I feel anymore.

Not only do I get it the last few weeks with my college team losing (WVU) I also have to endure it with the Cowboys losing.

Yes...it's just another humiliating kick in the crotch weekend for BP.: :(

Oh yeah?

Cleveland is pretty much neck-and-neck with Dallas, might even be a few points better, and they average like 5 less minutes of possession per game than Dallas.

Tennessee is pretty much in the same spot. Dead last in T.O.P but they score more than Dallas.

It's a damn shame.:bang2:

I havent looked at the schedule but im sure that plays a part in this stat... A few playoff teams from last year... Who have they played?

No offensive line. Blaming the coach is just convenient.

Until we acquire talent there our coach, whoever it may be, won't be good enough.

that excuse does not hold

a real coach would ask for talent in the right places

The Packers and Patriots have gone to the Superbowl recently with mediocre offensive lines and no running game.

They do need to upgrade the trenches on both sides of the ball, but I'm not buying that this offense is bad solely because of the blocking. Plenty of offenses can't block and they aren't hot garbage like this team. The disorganization of the offense alone says there's a bigger problem.

So have the Giants.

This team shows all the signs of a poorly coached team.

Romo said in his conference call he wanted Garrett to allow them to run the spread shotgun from the start of the game. Obviously he didn’t win that battle. Any running plays are waste of downs.

youre out of your mind if you think, even with this crappy offensive line, that 150 points midway through the season is acceptable

I'm so tired of hearing how our offensive line is so horrible. I would say they are average to slightly below average. Good enough for a competent QB to get it done in the NFL. The coaching is horrible and so is Romo.

:splat:

The average QB would be on his behind with this OL and these long developing garbage plays that Garrett calls

Well.. he has no other choice but to blame the offensive line. He really likes Romo and can't give him any blame so all that is left is the offensive line and JG. Never Romo's fault.

The Jets have scored 4 TDs outside of their offense. Their special teams have returned 1 kickoff and 1 punt for a score and the defense has returned 2 interceptions for scores. So take 28 points off of that 168 point total and you get 140 points scored by the Jets offense.
