Just learned something kinda cool...

I lived in the same apartment building as Bob Lilly c.1971-1972. My mom told a story about it this week... said there were always parties, and always Cowboys players walking around. No pictures or personal stories - my Dad was one of those guys that would rather nod wave than introduce himself and make a big deal about it. Kind of cool, though. I was only a year or two old.

Bob used to have a restaurant in Mesilla Park, New Mexico and I met him there. Just a great guy.

Bob Lilly took pictures with my wife and daughter-in-law last summer. He completely enchanted them and was warm in conversations as well.

I have an autographed t-shirt from his Annual Whooping Crane Run, on my bedroom wall.
