Just left Oxnard practice thoughts

I have been watching a lot of the cowboys app on the Roku and I am really shocked about how much Taco reminds me of Dlaw. He is not the beast that Dlaw is yet but there are many similarities

ON Gregory lets keep perspective Professional Athletes are no different than all the other Im percet human beings on earth..its amazed bag and they get followed around and harassed by media camera, and fans all the time.. occasionally some react badly..many HOF players were some bad human beings..so dont expect perfection from all these guys give it arrest on judgement because we all know you arent perfect either..remember some of the POTUS? HA! they are supposed to act perfect and been caught doing worse with their rodes LMAO..again perspective..

First time making it out to Oxnard and was Impressed overall with the venu

Having said that saw randy Gregory up close as I was front row and he defiantly is still immature going through the motions when he was doing his side work and even shot the rod to some fans who shouted out his name

Taco looks noticeably bigger and I think he’s gonna look for that Week 1 starter roll... fully expect to eat crow on him

J.Lewis had a nice pick off of rush from his slot position... him not starting will really have me shaking my head

Bailey missed another FG (let the sky fall)

Twill dropped maybe two balls one being a breadbasket catch that bounced off his chest

Connor got beat up a few times in drills... but so did Martin by the whipping boy T.crawford

That’s most of what I saw it was a great experience

I wish cowboys would move crawford back to DT instead of DE. He offers no passrush from his side vs a tackle. I rather have taco and lawrence at ends. Crawford move to DT especially with irvin always suspended.

Good. Glad he is getting the mojo back.
In my opinion, NFL kickers should hardly ever miss field goals in practice under 50 unless the conditions are bad. That's basically all they have practiced their entire football lives. Its shocking to me the amount of kickers in this league who have such a low percentage. There's only so much that goes into kicking a football. If you have the ability and have been doing it for 15 or so years you would think it would be damn near automatic.

And that’s what he was. Automatic. But the injury hit him. Not sure if he got in his own head or if they brought him back to soon.

nick foles went through the same thing..hard to get it back as the injury might give you a hitch, lower body, and then you adjust for it then it heals and try to adjust back..but jeez Tom you act as if people are perfect, noones perfect..practice or not lets not forget what it was like before him like QB once you got a great one you keep him even at his struggling self hes better then 28 others out there..

lets also not forget the two he missed in 2014 Playoff game..one was a gimme, noones perfect but that hurt worse along with refs and murrys fumble but its always romos fault LOL dang it Romo why is Baily missing Fgs:huh::lmao:

Hoping he just gets back to the way he was pre injury. He wasn’t perfect and they all miss kicks. But watching him miss extra points by a mile was rough. And I also think the murray fumble could have cost us that game.

Groin injuries are just such persistent injuries that can come back to haunt players at any time, even after long periods of recuperation. Believe me, I had one in the distant past that nagged me for what seemed like forever. They can also get in a kicker's head, knowing how vulnerable they are to reinjury. Hopefully, Dan will get his mojo back and keep it throughout the remainder of his career.

worse he hurt it kicking into the net..ugh..might want to try hot yoga and stretchy activity's in between FGs lol..they do get cold waiting to kick..he and OBJ got ***** slapped by the net..:))

I hope he's back to his old automatic self.

I'm jealous of the folks who get to hangout at Oxnard. I bet it's a cool vacay. Football in the AM then the beach for a break in the action.

What is a rod?

But with he and Lawrence, we have a fantastic pair of run-stuffing ends.

And he gets more pressure than you suggest.

Crawford is a good player.

I think most people were surprised that moving the extra point back would have such a big impact. You would think that these professional kickers would hardly ever miss from 33 yards, but the missed extra points have been the difference in a lot of NFL games. After seeing it in action, I like the rule change. The extra point isn't as automatic anymore.

Every player point is negative. Well, glad the venue was nice.
