Chuck Foreman at WalMart. He was signing autographs for the Children's Miracle Network. Got an autographed football for my collection.

Mea culpa, Chuck's not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But he was a darn good RB, nonetheless.

Why is it your fault that he's not in the HOF? Are you a voter? If so, give us some inside info on the anti-Cowboys conspiracy.

I'm a fan of Foreman myself. He had quite a powerful uppercut, no doubt. And his grills are surprisingly nifty, yet practical...

I just meant that I misspoke when I proclaimed him a HOFer. Getting Chuck into the Hall is way beyond my control.:D

I'm wondering, how was he moving? Limping? Seemed to be doing well?

I remember him fairly well and he was a bit underrated IMO.

He had a picture of himself running into the 'Boys D. I saw Randy Hughes, Larry Cole, Charlie Waters, and Randy White in that picture and was naming them off to Mr. Foreman. He said that the 'Boys were a tough opponent no matter what. I told him that I remembered watching him play against the Cowboys and my dad taking his name in vain at least a couple of times;) . He replied that my dad probably wasn't the only Cowboys fan cursing his name.

All in all, he seemed like a pretty decent guy. He came up to me and introduced himself. Then we talked for a good 20 minutes and I bought an autographed football from him. Amazing who you run into in WallyWorld.

Sounds like a good guy and smart businessman based on your account of the interaction. After all, he's the product and he presents himself very well.

And he's right about other Cowboys fan cursing him a time or two!

He moved surprisingly well, considering how long he played and some of the hits he took.
